Green Fundraising Dinner

Last night I had the pleasure of attending a fundraising dinner with many fine Green candidates in attendance. I spoke with Amber Jones, the Green candidate for Saskatoon-Biggar-Rosetown. She has been having lots of fun campaigning in the small towns of Biggar and Rosetown and she will be busy in other small communities today such as Asquith. She was pleasantly surprised by the warm reception she got from all of the rural folk. Let’s hope this translates into votes. I also made plans to go and help her out tomorrow night while she campaigns in Saskatoon. I am really looking forward to this opportunity. I sure hope that the conventional wisdom for this riding turns out to be false!
